Hardcore farming/trophy raid

This raid requires a level 10 barracks, a level 2 dark barracks, a barbarian king and a level 3 spell factory.
Make sure to request for level 5 wizards.
This raid should take about 2 and a half hours to train.

I found this town hall level 9 base:
My main targets are the dark elixir buildings:
He has a level 1 air defense that is unguarded:
But he has a level 4 barbarian king so I will have to watch out for that.
I will start by deploying my cc troops next to the unguarded air defense:
Then I drop a P.E.K.K.A., and then another P.E.K.K.A.
Now I drop my hog riders:
He has cc troops so I will have to clean them up with my cc wizards.

And now my dragons and a rage spell. It is good to have lots of troops out at the same time. That way the defenses will be overwhelmed.
Now I sit and watch:
Then I drop my barbarian king. Here's a bird's eye view of the battle:
After my barbarian king gets knocked out, I only have one more dragon:
And that's it!

Alternate farming raid strategy

This raid is a little more core than my last post. So for people who want more loot than trophies, this is the raid for you!

We will start by requesting for level 5 and up wizards.
Then, we will train 18 wizards, 1 barbarian and 1 wall breaker.
Next, we will train 3 dragons.
Now, this raid is about getting as much loot as possible so we will train 55 goblins.
Then we will train 5 more wall breakers.
Next up: spells. 2 healing spells and 1 rage spell.
This raid will not require the barbarian king but it is always a good idea to have him on hand.
Then, wait 2 and a half hours and the troop training and spell making should all be about done.

Now for the raid:

I found this town hall level 7 base with lots of gold and dark elixir:
There is only one active air defense. The other one is being upgraded.
Plenty of loot. I tried to pick my drop zone carefully. I decided to drop my troops on the west side of the village. That is the side with the active air defense so it will be easy to destroy it.
First, I drop some wizards:
These guys will clear the way for my goblins. Next I put down a healing spell and some wall breakers:
They have cc troops so I will have to take them out:
I drop my cc wizards to destroy them. My cc wiz are higher level than theirs so it should be fairly easy:
Now that the cc troops are down, I have to take out my next two targets. A wizard tower and the active air defense:
Now I need to take the gold. Man that wizard looks like lightning is coming out of his eyes :D
Now my goblins are ready to drop:
I drop a barbarian to destroy the air defense for good:
Now I can send out my dragons.
Rage dragons! The next targets of the bottom dragon are easy to spot.
Take out the gold!
Now take the last of the dark elixir. Those wizard towers are mean!
And that's about it!

This raid got me enough dark elixir to upgrade my barbarian king.

Next time: hardcore farming/trophy raid.

Raid: my basic farming strategy

Firstly, I request a level 2 or higher dragon.
Then, train 15 giants:
Next, train 15 wizards:
Then, 1 healer and 6 wall breakers:
This raid does not require the barbarian king but it is a good idea to use him to just clear out the free stuff.
Then, create 2 healing spells and 1 rage spell:
Next, train 3 barbarians, 4 giants and 4 wizards:

This will take about 1 hour and 45 minutes to train.

Then, the attacking part.

I found this town hall level 7 base.

My main targets are the mortars and the wizard towers.
Plus, there is a "landing zone" near the cc so I can easily take out the cc troops if there are any.
First, I drop a few giants. Sure enough, there were cc troops, so I save the rest of my giants until they are taken. The giant's path is also quite easy to map out.
Now I need to drop some troops to deal with the cc troops, so I drop my wizards.
Now I drop the rest of my giants. Plus a couple healing spells. One on the giants and another on the wizards.

Next, I drop my cc troops (dragon). Now the archer tower and the wizard tower are destroyed, so that is another threat nutralized.
Now I drop my barbarians. Since there was no barbarian king that needed to be drawn out, I use the barbs for taking out the town hall.
I have three key targets left. Air defense, mortar and a wizard tower.
Now I drop my barb king and a healer, so that the barb king won't lose much (or any) health.
Now that the air defense is taken out, my cc dragon is safe. There is only one more defense and that is an archer tower.
And now back to the barbarian king. You can see that he has been completely healed by my healer.
Now there are only corner buildings that I have to take out.

And that's it!

This raid requires:

  • Four level 6 army camps
  • At least level 8 barracks
  • Level 3 spell factory
  • 227,300 elixir
  • A willing clanmate with level 9 barracks and 20,000 elixir

Special thanks to my clan leader sh33lz3bub for the dragon.
